Another exciting Job Opportunity has become available at ADS.

We are looking to employ a Secretary / Administrator / Receptionist based in our offices at Gateshead. 

The role will include maintaining the reception area, performing general secretarial and clerical functions for the purpose of supporting office operations. Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

Key duties include...

  • General office duties including answering all incoming phone calls, scheduling, copying, faxing, data entry & filing
  • Procurement of stationary and office supplies
  • Accounting using Sage ‘Instant Accounts’ – including all incoming invoices, Reconciling data and outgoing invoices and applications
  • Assisting with the payroll duties
  • VAT returns
  • Credit Control

The ideal candidate will be expected to liaise with office staff & site engineers on a regular basis, report to the directors, provide a prompt response to enquiries, have a confident telephone manner, have a good level of IT knowledge and competent in the use of Sage ‘Instant Accounts’.

The role is full time and is based at our Gateshead Office. Salary is negotiable (depending upon experience).

The job is to start on the 5th December (or sooner if possible) as the successful candidate will be working alongside our current secretary to hand over before retirement from the company in February 2017.
