Bede CollegeADS designed, supplied and installed a natural ventilation system along with the architectural louvres for the new teaching and sports campus in Billingham (Teesside). ADS Were responsible for the main atria, the main hall and the sports hall ventilation systems. For the main Atria ADS included low level inlet air through the curtain walling using louvres, dampers and internal grilles along with high level louvres and painted dampers into the upstands of the rooflights. For the main hall; inlet air is also provided through actuated low level louvres and extract is through high level louvres and dampers into the rooflight. The Sports Hall natural ventilation system comprises of low level natural ventilation units with 'high impact' steel internal grilles (to prevent damage from sports equipment) and high level dampers and louvres into the up-stands of the 'Shark Fin' roof system. ADS also supplied and installed numerous 50 & 75mm pitch louvres to the numerous plantrooms. ADS had to interface with Masonry, Cladding, Render, Rainscreen cladding and integrate our louvres into the College Signage above the main entrance. Similar Projects |
