Sunderland Aquatic Centre
   ADS installed an internal solar shading system and walkway to the main entrance area of the new iconic building on the banks of the river Wear. The site is adjacent to the Stadium of Light and is the only 50m pool between Edinburgh and Leeds. Our system comprises of vertical support mullions and 200mm aerofoil blades fixed between profiled end caps. We also installed an aluminium walkway system fixed to the primary support steelwork. The function of the system is to reduce glare into the main entrance / reception area and provide a walkway system to provide access to clean the windows. |
