Clarence Dock
    For over 5 years ADS worked on site at the prestigious Clarence Dock project in Leeds. We started on Blocks A & B and finished on block H & D. Block D (pictured) consists of a residential tower block and a podium restaurant area. The podium area required a continuous louvre system to the full perimeter of the retail unit, this created interfaces with the curved brick work openings, curtain walling openings and the continuous GRP flashing above. We facetted the louvre with mitred blades to curve around the perimeter of the unusually shaped building. Other work on Clarence Dock included smoke shaft smoke ventilation to blocks A, B & H, head of staircase smoke ventilation, chain actuators on windows acting as ventilators (AOV’s), wiring and control systems, louvre panels, Continuous facetted louvre system, a roof top plant screening louvre & a circular louvred turret area. |
